1st Bavarian Chevaulegers Major, 1914

A bust from Michael Miniatures of a Bavarian Chevaulegers Major circa 1914. Another great release from Mike Cramer sculpted by Carl Reid. Casting was precise with minimal cleanup. Oils over acrylic as usual. Printers inks were used for all metal surfaces. Instead of an enamel carrier I used Liquin for the inks. Afterward a gloss coat of Future floor wax was applied. The Crimson facings were a mixture of Crimson with Titanium White. Green tunic was a mix of Prussian Green and Blue/Black. Highlighted with Naples Yellow. All oils were Winsor Newton.
