Frank Perconte

I guess I don't have to just post photos of figures on my site so here's something a little different. This is a photo of Frank Perconte and myself taken at a book signing back in 2001. As most of you know Frank is an original member of E Co/506th PIR of the 101st Airborne Division. It was an honor to be able to meet this man in person after having read about and seeing him portrayed in Band of Brothers. Frank was a very good speaker and talked about his experiences in the war as well as talking about his fellow troopers. I brought along a couple of my airborne figures and Frank was nice enough to sign the bases for me.
