6th Wisconsin, Iron Brigade

This is the figure I'm contributing to the APG for their latest project. The restoration and conservation of the vest and kepi that was worn by Lucius Fairchild when, as Colonel of the Iron Brigade's 2nd Wisconsin, he was severely wounded during the battle of Gettysburg.
I painted this figure in 1993. It's a 100mm Michael Roberts figure cast in resin. Like all my figures it is painted in oils over acrylics.
