Reinhard Heydrich

Here is the completed Heydrich figure. Oils flattened out nicely after the Dullcote. Future floor was was applied in layers to get the gloss on the belts.

Heydrich Head Attached

This photo shows the head now placed on the body. Used a two part epoxy with no need for a pin for extra support. This is due to the superb fit of the castings. The legs are painted as well but not completely dry yet. The photo had just too much glare from the lights reflecting from the oils for me to post it prior to the dullcoate. Shouldn't be long until he's finished. Working on his sword at this time.

Heydrich Face

First application of oils to the face. When dry I'll add more highlights and shadows. The cap badges will get their final touches as well. Love the snarl.

Heydrich Base

This is the base for the Heydrich figure. My first attempt at marble. Base coat was a Blue/Grey then the Ochre was applied. After the Ochre dried I applied twenty plus coats of Future Floor wax. Then I applied the Black swirls and lines. After those dried more coats of wax. This created an illusion of depth seen is real marble.
